Reflections on Forms and Slides

Google Apps, while a challenging and time intensive course, has proven to give us the creative outlet that a lot of us crave. 
I have very much enjoyed the personalization options, and also the ability to add in more personality to our assignments. I really appreciate how well all the courses are tying together (keyboarding class makes assignments more efficient, Microsoft Powerpoint has helped a lot in my understanding of Slides). While I took some creative liberty with the last assignment and more viewed it as a reflection of my honeymoon in Hawaii last year, I really enjoyed piecing together a presentation. 
It very much reminded me of the prehistoric days before social media. A business version of sharing my travels, if you will. 
My favorite part about the slides was the transitions, and how easy it was to add personal videos or photos (as long as I put it in a findable place on Google Drive). I appreciate the ability to do that quite easily.

Reflections on Google Apps {so far}

One new feature I didn't know about was adding a contact off of a Google Word document. I do love the seamless transition between all of the Google apps, it reminds me of how Apple is also consistent between devices. If I can manage my notifications correctly, I can see the reminders on the calendar being very helpful to stay ontop of all my different schedules.

First Impressions of Blogging and Blogger

My experience with blogging is actually exclusively through Blogger. I used to have a blog, because once upon a time I was hopeful that my ideas were worthy of the internet. And they were, I do believe that most things (that don't harm others) are worthy of the internet. I have enjoyed seeing how Blogger has evolved and how modern it seems to have become. The upgrades are nice and I love the sleek feel to it. I am excited to utilize Blogger and to continue to make writing more of a daily practice (like we did in OPT Bootcamp). My favorite part was customizing the blog with photos and seeing the size difference and pixel capacity of Blogger. When I was trying to become a "blogger" (now, refered to as an "influencer"), the largest size option for photos were that of a poloroid. I was delighted to scroll through a few photograph options before deciding on my wedding day photo. I am also excited to see what layouts my classmates choose!
